Florence E. Schrock, age 78 years, of Archbold, passed away early Tuesday morning, March 6, 2012, at Fairlawn Haven Nursing Home in Archbold.
She was born July 5, 1933, near Shickley, Neb., the daughter of William and Mabel (Augustine) Stoltzfus, and married Dale Schrock on March 25, 1956.
A resident of Pettisville many years, she moved to Archbold in 2007. She was a cook and waitress at the Home Restaurant, worked in the bakery at the former Bernath’s Super- Valu, and was a volunteer at Care and Share Thrift Store.
She was a member of the West Clinton Mennonite Church near Pettisville.
She is survived by her husband, Dale; three children, Marlin Schrock of Fairfax, Va., Dallas (Denice) Schrock of Archbold, and Joy Lerma of Wauseon; seven grandchildren; four brothers, Floyd (Lynette) Stoltzfus of Colorado, Reuben (Eileen) Stoltzfus, Gerald (Joan) Stoltzfus, and Merlin (Alice) Stoltzfus all of Pennsylvania; and three sisters, Fern Schweitzer, Bernetta Hennigh both of Pennsylvania, and Alverda Swope of Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Gladys Yoder.
Memorial services were held on Friday at 11 a.m. at the West Clinton Mennonite Church with Revs. Jess and Naomi Engle officiating. Interment preceded at 10 a.m. in the Pettisville Cemetery.
