Five automobile crashes in three days involving students from the Four County Career Center is unbearable.
Four County Career Center staff constantly talk about safety to their students, which is good.
However, they believe no special action is required as a result of this series of crashes.
We disagree. There should be some reaction… some intervention. Drivers young and old alike need to remember it takes only a moment of inattentiveness for an accident.
Teenagers believe they’re invincible. We don’t want an accident that results in a fatality to show them they’re not.
The best news is that those who were hospitalized were treated and released, and the girl flown by helicopter to a Toledo hospital is now home with her family. For that, everyone is thankful.
