Five Archbold residents were among the 15 people indicted by the Fulton County Grand Jury.
Scott Haselman, Fulton County prosecuting attorney, said in a press release the grand jury met Monday, July 21, and handed down indictments charging individuals with crimes ranging from sexual in nature to theft- and drug-related.
Those with Archbold addresses indicted:
•Brendon A. Manz, 18; indicted on one count, grand theft of a motor vehicle; on or about June 22-23, allegedly stole a motor vehicle from a Wauseon residence.
•Jeremy Litchfield, 26; indicted on one count each, possession of heroin, possession of drug abuse instruments, obstructing justice; on or about April 30, he allegedly possessed heroin and instruments used to unlawfully administer, use, or prepare a dangerous drug; also allegedly obstructed justice.
•Veronica Zamora, 31; indicted on one count each, grand theft and tampering with records; on or about Sept. 26, 2012, to May 14, 2013, allegedly stole food assistance and daycare services valued at more than $7,500 but less than $150,000; also allegedly tampered with records belonging to a governmental entity.
•Luke J. Merillat, 21; indicted on one count each, breaking and entering, theft; allegedly on or about June 27-28, allegedly stole copper shavings, wire and a pressure washer from an Archbold business. Mark L. Merillat, 24, Fayette, was indicted on the same charges, stemming from the same alleged incident.
•Stephanie L. Ruby, 20; indicted on two counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor; on or about April 14 to May 31, she allegedly engaged in sexual conduct with a person 13 years of age or older, but less than 16.
