Fire In Vacant Farm House Called Arson




The State Fire Marshall office has determined the Monday, Sept. 24 fire in a vacant twostory farm house was started by an arsonist.

Archbold firefighters were originally dispatched to the blaze, reportedly on Co. Rd. BC, at about 3:06 am. When they arrived at the fire scene, they discovered the fire was in Williams County on Co. Rd. F-50. The house was located at 25363 Williams Co. Rd. F-50, between the Fulton-Williams county line and Williams Co. Rd. 23.50.

Archbold firefighters started to fight the fire, then turned the battle over to Stryker Fire Department units as they arrived.

The house, which had not been occupied for 15 to 20 years, was a total loss.
