During National FFA Week, Feb. 18-22, the Archbold FFA held activities throughout the week. The chapter held a Rock- A-Thon, Friday, Feb. 22 as a fund-raiser for Sara’s Garden.

During the Rock-A-Thon chapter members had to, among other things, rock in rocking chairs. Each was sponsored by a local business or individual. The chapter also held a corn hole tournament.

The chapter raised nearly $700 for Sara’s Garden.

Dustin Homan, Ohio FFA president, spent the day with Archbold FFA members, Monday, March 3. His messages dealt with self-esteem, trust, teamwork, and using individual strengths to better the organization.

Homan talked about how members need to keep up their self-esteem as well as build the self-esteem of others, and work toward a common goal for the organization.
