On Wednesday, Feb. 20, the annual pancake breakfast was held for FFA alumni, faculty, staff, and parents of FFA members. Although it was an early day for the FFA members, it was worth it because many people were in attendance and enjoyed the breakfast.

On Friday, Feb. 22, a baby animal day was held for students in kindergarten through third grades. Animals included puppies, piglets, a calf, lambs, goats, and rabbits. Students of all ages enjoyed seeing the baby animals.

From Feb. 25-29, students held a hoop shoot to earn money for CROP-Church World Services and Children’s Hospital, which are both charities of the Ohio FFA Association. If a student made at least one basket, then they were put in a drawing for a donated prize.

The grand prizes for making a half-court shot were won by Michael Deffely (high school), who won a corn hole set, and Nathan Spotts (junior high), who won a sports basket full of snacks.- Libbey Eicher, reporter
