The Pettisville FFA Alumni and Friends held their annual meeting, Tuesday, Nov. 29.

After Jacob Bruner, FFA alumni president, called the meeting to order, reports were given. Pumpkin Fest was again successful, and supported the students with more than $3,000 in scholarships and award stipends.

The fifth Science Fair Hog Roast is being planned.

Trisha Cousino and Chrysta Beck reported on their trips to Washington, D.C., attending Washington Leadership Conference with awards from the state FFA Alumni.

Aaron Bruner, FFA president, gave an update.

Building needs were discussed with greenhouse grow lights and electric testing equipment top on the list.

Delegates are needed for the state annual meeting on Jan. 28, 2012. The state is celebrating 40 years of alumni work and support.

Officers for the coming year are Lavon Hershberger, president; David Beck, vice president; Courtney Miller, secretary; Cathy Nofziger, treasurer.–Lexie Poulson, Alumni reporter
