FFA News

Pettisville FFA students participated in many career development events this spring, including general livestock, wildlife management, nature interpretation, agronomy, equine management, poultry, and floriculture. Some students also participated in the Ashland Invitational.

The general livestock team placed eighth. Members and their individual places: Harris King, 18th; Lucas Nofziger, 20th; Kayla King, 24th; Josh Bruner, 30th; Stacey King, 73rd; Vicki Nofziger, 123rd; Hannah Beck, 130th; and Emily Herring, 165th.

The wildlife management team placed 15th. Members and their individual places: Alan Donnet, 40th; Hailey Randolph, 57th; Michael McDermott, 69th; and Torin Blosser, 98th.

Alex Donnett was the only member who participated in the nature interpretation CDE. He placed 21st.

The agronomy team placed seventh. Rachel Fry was fifth and Bryce Stillwill, 25th.

The equine management team placed 18th. Rebekah Meller was sixth, Heidi Waidelich, 96th.

Justin Spiess placed 78th in poultry.

Five students participated in the Ashland Invitational. Meller placed seventh in equine management; J. Spiess, 91st in poultry; M. McDermott, 108th, and Donnett, 118th, in wildlife management; V. Nofziger, 144th in general livestock.

The floriculture team placed fifth. Members and their individual places: Sarah Aeschliman, 20th; Lynae Fry, 21st; Ashley Eicher, 29th; Mackenzie Nofziger, 33rd; Krista Spiess, 34th; Sarah McDermott, 38th; and Rosy Coronado, 57th.
