The Kyle VonDeylen family told Archbold police about some suspicious circumstances they had discovered around their residence recently.
VonDeylen told police when the family returned to their 105 St. Anne St. home about 8:30 pm, Friday, Nov. 7, they found the door of the walk-through next to his garage standing open. They assumed the door had blown open, as nothing was tampered with or missing.
Then on Wednesday, Nov. 12, Nicole VonDeylen, Kyle’s wife, was home, and heard the door open and close. The family dog acted as if someone had been there.
The door had been unlocked.
Two days later, on Friday, Nov. 14, Nicole reported hearing the screen door open and close, but the pass-through door was locked.
