Melanie Gilders, director of the Fulton County Board of Elections, said Kevin Eicher, Archbold village councilman, has filed nominating petitions for reelection.
He was first elected to council in November 2007, with his term starting Jan. 1, 2008. If reelected, it will be his fourth term.
Two other council seats are up for reelection– those held by Kevin Morton and Brian Huffman. Neither has filed nominating petitions.
Also, Jeff Fryman, mayor, must place his name on the ballot if he wishes to return to the post.
Kenneth “Skip” Leupp, German Township trustee, has filed the necessary paperwork to be reelected.
Dave Murry and Larry Neuenschwander filed their nominating petitions for posts as Clinton Township trustees, while Joshua A. Grime has filed a petition to return to the Franklin Township fiscal officer post.
Those who wish to seek election to a public office must file nominating petition paperwork by Wednesday, Aug. 7.
