Three AHS graduates have earned degrees from Bluffton University. All three also graduated as members of the C. Henry Smith Scholar Program.
•Emma Cobb, AHS ‘16, daughter of Adam and Jennifer, earned bachelor’s degrees in music and nutrition and dietetics. The recipient of the Music Distinguished Scholar and Distinguished Performer awards, she graduated as a member of the 2019-20 Pi Delta Society.
•Michael Short, AHS ‘17, son of Ryan and Sarah, earned a bachelor’s degree in information technology with a business administration minor. He was the recipient of the Information Technology Distinguished Scholar award.
•Ethan Zaerr, AHS ‘16, son of Ron and Elaine, earned bachelor’s degrees in chemistry and physics with an education studies minor.
Brad and Elise King both earned doctorate degrees from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM), Erie, Pa., on Sunday, May 31.
Brad, PHS ‘07 and son of Duane and Jenny, received a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree. He will undergo emergency medicine residency training with UPMC Hamot in Erie, Pa.
Elise, daughter of Steve and Ellen Fogle, West Chester, received a Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
They met at the University of Toledo while completing their undergraduate degrees, and married in 2014.
Matthew Kinsman, AHS ‘16 and son of Rod and Joyce, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural business and economics from Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa, during a virtual commencement ceremony.
