Two incidents of subjects pumping gasoline at two village convenience stores and driving off without paying were reported to police, Thursday, May 9.
At 10:38 am, police were told a male subject pumped $61.71 worth of gasoline into a dark green minivan at the Archbold Main Stop, then drove off without paying.
Police were unable to track down the vehicle.
At 10:39 am, police were told a woman driving a compact car pumped $5 worth of gas into a car at the Archbold One Stop Center.
Police contacted the woman, who said she thought she had paid for the fuel with a credit card. She said she would take care of the bill.
