Dog Bite Case Reported

Noah Pelmear, 105 1/2 Vine Street, was cited for failure to confine his dog, after it allegedly bit a woman about 5:30 pm, Monday, Aug. 18.

Audrey S. Burkholder, 54, rural Archbold, told police she was walking on village property behind her business when the dog, who was chained outside, rushed over to her and bit her on the shoulder.

The police report indicates she suffered an apparent minor injury.

Brian Banister, Fulton County dog warden, investigated the case and issued the citation.

An arraignment was scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 2.
