A case of alleged child abuse discovered by Archbold police has been turned over to other authorities.
Police were contacted by a juvenile about 4:29 pm, Tuesday, April 5. The police report on the incident indicates the youth suffered apparent minor injuries.
“Upon our arrival, we were able to determine that there was actual abuse and contacted Fulton County Job & Family Services,” an officer wrote in his report.
“The juvenile has been placed in a temporary home by FCJFS.”
Amy Metz-Simon, director of Fulton County Job & Family Service agency, said she could not comment on the case.
