Death Notices




Grace M. Lehman, 84, Upper Sandusky and formerly of Archbold, died Saturday, Sept. 29, 2007 at the Wyandot Memorial Hospital, Upper Sandusky. Survivors include two sons, Roger W. (Beth) Lehman, Columbus, and Douglas J. (Deb), Upper Sandusky; four daughters, LuAnn (Bob Rife) Lehman, Upper Sandusky, Mrs. Leslie (Linda) Heimrick, McCutchenville, Deb Grove, Upper Sandusky, and Mrs. John (Jackie) Miranda, Upper Sandusky; six grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters. A mass of Christian burial is today, Wednesday, 11 a.m. in the Transfiguration of the Lord Catholic Church. Burial is in the St. Peter Catholic Cemetery, Upper Sandusky. Bringman-Clark Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Marvel L. Schmucker, 95, Pettisville, died Monday morning, Oct. 1, 2007, at Fairlawn Haven Nursing Home, Archbold. Arrangements are pending at the Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home, Wauseon.

Margaret G. Schumacher, 95, Pandora, died Thursday, Sept. 13, 2007, at Fairlawn Haven Nursing Home, Archbold. Survivors include a son, Gordon (Margaret) Schumacher, Archbold; four grandchildren; and a brother, Gaylord (Eve) Lehman, Birmingham, Mich. Burial was in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Pandora.

E. Lorene Eash, 86, Archbold, died Oct. 1, 2007, at Fairlawn Haven Nursing Home,
Archbold. Survivors include her husband, Elon; two sons, William (Esther) Eash,
Newton, Kan., and Neal (Lori) Eash, Louisville, Tenn.; one daughter, Marybeth
(Greg) Watterson, Mt. Gilead; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one
brother, Loyal (Donnabelle) Nofziger, Archbold; two sisters, Evelyn (Vern)
Nafziger, and Valetta (Willard) Frey, Archbold. Memorial services are Sunday,
Oct. 7, 3 p.m., at Lockport Mennonite Church. Interment will precede at 12 noon
Sunday in the Pettisville Cemetery. Visitation is Saturday, Oct. 6, 3-8 pm at
the Fairlawn Chapel. Short Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
