Custom Rims, Tires Stolen From Auto




Three custom 22-inch rims and tires valued at $2,925 were stolen from a car parked at 206 Vine Street between 10 pm, Tuesday, March 15, and midnight, Wednesday, March 16.

The Archbold police report states Abbigail Rodriguez, who lives at the Vine Street address, told officers the wheels and tires were taken from the back seat of her car. The fourth wheel and tire were in the trunk.

Also, the right rear tire of the family minivan was flattened. It is not known whether the tire was slashed, or went flat for another reason.

A representative of Marco’s Pizza told police officers a door mat with the company logo was stolen sometime between 8:30 and 9:50 pm, Sunday, March 13.

The mat was placed outside for cleaning purposes. It is valued at $160.

Daryl Beck, 315 Murbach St., told police a garden cart valued at $400 was taken from his front yard sometime between 10:30 am and 1:30 pm, Friday, March 18.

Beck told officers he had put some refuse in the cart and parked it at the curb. At first he though trash collectors from ARS, Inc., had tak- en it, but company officials said they did not take the cart.

Beck speculates the cart was taken by someone who was picking though the trash and thought he was throwing it away.

Tara Knicley, East Gardens, told police prescription medication was taken from her apartment sometime after Friday, Feb. 18.
