Crash Reports

Archbold police recently released two crash reports.

One occurred Monday, May 20, about 8 am, in the parking lot of the high school.

Samuel Narath, 18, Archbold, was attempting to straighten his car in a parking space. As he was backing, he struck a car driven by Lyane Hammon, 16, rural Archbold, who was attempting to drive into another space. No injuries.

A two-vehicle mishap occurred Thursday, April 4 at about 4:21 pm on St. Rt. 2, about two-tenths of a mile east of St. Rt. 66.

A car, driven by Jonathon Lewis Lantz, 26, Archbold, was traveling east on St. Rt. 2, while a second auto, driven by Joel Flory, 17, rural Wauseon was traveling west, and attempted to turn into an entrance to the Sauder Village complex.

Lantz swerved to the right to miss Flory. Lantz drove over a curb, damaging the right front wheel and right rear tire. The Flory auto was undamaged. No injuries.
