Coroner Awaits Autopsy Results

Rick Yoder, Fulton County coroner, said Monday he is waiting on autopsy results before issuing a ruling in the death of 41-year-old Kevin R. Mosel.

Archbold police officers were called to Mosel’s apartment at the Holland Court apartments at 6:44 pm, Wednesday, July 10, after police received a call of a “possible dead body.”

In his report, an officer said he met with a person who said Mosel was “upstairs and not moving.

“I observed the body, which appeared to be deceased for some time.”

Archbold Rescue was called to assist with processing the scene, and Yoder was notified.

Yoder said Mosel appeared to have been dead for about two days when his body was discovered.

Mosel’s body was transported to the Lucas County coroner office for an autopsy. Because it could take weeks for the test results, Yoder said he may not have a ruling on his cause of death for two to three months.
