Jordan Klopfenstein, PHS’ 09 and a junior at Huntington (Ind.) University, was honored on the Mid-Central Conference Gold Glove baseball team for his performance this season.
The right fielder is riding a .970 fielding percentage.
Gold Glove awards are given annually to players judged to have exhibited superior individual fielding performances at each fielding position.
The Foresters (25-24, 20- 15 MCC) headed into the conference tournament as the fifth seed last week.
Klopfenstein is the son of Rod and Linda.
