Clela M. (King) Stoll, age 96 years, of Archbold, passed away Thursday afternoon, May 12, 2016, at Fairlawn Haven Nursing Home in Archbold.

She was born June 29, 1919, near Archbold, the daughter of Aaron and Mary (Short) Grieser.

She married Ralph King on Oct. 24, 1940, and he preceded her in death on Nov. 11, 1970. She then married Isaac Stoll on March 29, 1975, and he preceded her in death on March 27, 2011.

She lived in Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Florida, before returning to Archbold in 2000.

She was a homemaker, and worked at the former Gert & Bud’s Restaurant, and Lange’s Bakery in Archbold.

She enjoyed reading, camping, fishing, but most of all, spending time with her family.

She was a member of the Zion Mennonite Church in Archbold.

She is survived by three children, James (Darlene) King of Archbold, Paul King of Canon City, Colo., and Karen (Joseph) Kuhlman of Rudolph; six stepchildren, Norman (Felipa) Stoll of Jerome,

Mich., Glen (Sally) Stoll of Jonesville, Mich., Vera (Mike) Sutter, Rita (Andrew) Yoder, and Dale Stoll, all of Sarasota, Fla., and Tillie Ekundayo of Manitou Beach, Mich.; five grandchildren; 12 step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; numerous step-great-grandchildren; and a half-sister, Lois King of Archbold.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands; one brother, Ernest Grieser; three sisters, Leora Nafziger, Elsie Klopfenstein and Verna Grieser; two half-sisters, Mabel Ann Grieser and Ada Grieser.

A Celebration of Life service was on Monday at 11 a.m. at the Fairlawn Chapel with Pastors Jeff Kauffman and Jessica Schrock-Ringenberg officiating. Private interment was in the Pettisville Cemetery.
