Rebecca M. Creque, 46, Napoleon, was issued a summons to appear in Fulton County Western District Court for violating a village ordinance regarding placement of trash.
Those who own residential properties in the village are allowed to place trash at the curb for pickup up to 36 hours prior to the regularly-scheduled pickup time.
In his report, an Archbold police officer noted he had observed refuse placed at the curb of a residence at 705 West Lutz Road on Saturday, Feb. 13, and issued a warning to the caretaker. Trash wasn’t scheduled to be picked up until Friday, Feb. 19.
The officer noted in his report that he returned to the residence again on Feb. 16, and not only found that refuse was still at the curb, but that more had been added to the pile, which resulted in the summons.
