Charged With Falsification

Teresa L. Felix, also known as Teresa Taylor, 34, Archbold, has been charged with falsification after allegedly giving false statements to an Archbold police officer.

The police report states Felix admitted to giving false statements during the court proceedings in the case against Jaime Rodas, 36, Archbold.

Police originally charged Rodas with breaking and entering at Felix’s 817 West Street home about 9:01 pm, Jan. 27. Two girls, ages 10 and 14, were in the apartment at the time.

Rodas was indicted by a Fulton County grand jury on a single count of trespass in a habitation when a person was present or likely to be present on Feb. 8.

He was sentenced April 11 on a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct, and was given two years of community control, a $100 fine, and a jail sentence, which was suspended.

The falsification charge was filed on April 19; it was officially file-stamped by the court on April 22.

Archbold police arrested Felix on Tuesday, April 26. She was taken directly to Western District Court. She was released on $1,045 bond. She has entered a not-guilty plea to the charge.
