Carl H. Bostelman, 88, of Defiance, passed away May 21, 2013, at the Fulton Manor in Wauseon.
He was born Oct. 13, 1924, to Herman and Frances (Coulon) Bostelman.
On Jan. 11, 1945, he married Esther (Gerken), who preceded him in death.
He retired from LaChoy Foods, Archbold, in 1985 after being employed for 39 years. Carl enjoyed working on the family farm until his retirement.
He was preceded in death by his wife Esther of 64 years, and two daughters, Linda (Jack) Lugbill and Cindy Bostelman.
He is survived by his children, Carol Ann (Don) Behrman of Malinta, Jerry (Janice) Bostelman of Wauseon, Larry Bostelman of Evansport, Mary (Lee) Frazee of Montpelier, Joyce (Jeff) Colegrove of Fayette, Terry (Cheryl) Bostelman of Ridgeville Corners, Sandy Bostelman of Wauseon, Shelli (Rod) Luzar of Camden, Mich.; son-in-law Jack Lugbill of Archbold; along with 16 grandchildren, one step-grandson and 21 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Norma Gerken.
Funeral services were Friday, May 24, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Adams Ridge Rd., Defiance.
Snyder Wesche Funeral Home, Napoleon was in charge of the arrangements.
