Juan S. Lopez, 60, rural West Unity, was treated and released at the Fulton County Health Center following a two-vehicle collision in the 200 block of North Defiance Street about 6:50 pm, Saturday, May 12.
The Archbold police report states Lopez was driving a car south on North Defiance Street, with passenger Juan S. Lopez, Jr., 21, same address.
The Lopez car was stopped at the Stryker Street intersection.
A pickup truck, driven by David L. Meyer, 25, Archbold, was traveling south behind the Lopez auto. The two vehicles collided.
The report states after the crash, Meyer drove the pickup around the right side of the stopped car, and headed westbound on Stryker Street.
Archbold Rescue was called to the scene and transported the senior Lopez to FCHC.
Police located the pickup, and issued Meyer a citation for failure to maintain an assured clear distance ahead.
