A stolen car report was one of three theft reports filed with the Archbold Police Department last week.
Christopher Carden, Holland Court Apartments, owner of the 1996-model car, told Archbold police officers the vehicle was taken from the east parking area sometime between 8 pm, Saturday, Aug. 30, and 1:45 pm, Sunday, Aug. 31.
After Archbold police offi- cers broadcast a BOL ("Be On the Lookout for") radio message for the auto, officials from the Lenawee County (Mich.) Sheriff Department called, reporting the vehicle had been recovered in their county. It had been involved in a singlevehicle crash.
Carden told officers the keys were in the vehicle.
Lynn Beck, owner of Beck Trucking, 310 East Lugbill Rd., reported sometime between midnight, Saturday, Aug. 30, and 4:25 pm the following day, someone broke into two semi tractors parked in the lot.
Taken were a citizens band radio, combination televisiondigital video disc player, and a power inverter. One of the truck windows was broken to gain access.
Total value of the loss: $660.
Ricardo Rodriguez, 108 South Pleasant St., told officers his bicycle, valued at $80, was stolen from his front yard sometime between 11 pm and 11:55 pm, Wednesday, Sept. 3.
