The Pettisville girls cross country team finished third and the boys team was fourth at the Otsego Invitational, Saturday, Aug. 30.

“It was good to get an invitational in over the fair weekend, so we don’t have such a long layoff,” said Tom Wagner, PHS head coach.

“It was a great weather day, other than being a bit humid.

“Mary Jane Thurston Park is a true cross country course. Our kids ran up and down some hills and through a creek three times.

“The times weren’t the best, but that was to be expected. I think most of our runners had a fun race.”
