PHS 4, Waite 2

The Blackbirds struggled at first as a Waite forward scored off a shot from the 18-yard line. Aaron Rupp came back for Pettisville, volleying a bouncing ball from 30 yards over the outstretched arms of the Waite goalie.

The Indians came back and scored off a PHS breakdown.

Pettisville came out strong the second half. Quinn Nofziger tied the score off a free kick outside of the 18.

Jordan Klopfenstein kept the Blackbirds rolling with a deflection past the keeper. Nofziger connected on another free kick for a 4-2 victory.

Kalida 3, PHS 0

The Wildcats came out strong and scored early when a player streaked through the PHS defense to blast the ball by the Pettisville keeper.

Kalida maintained its dominance with another hard shot into the net. Its last goal came as a result of a defensive breakdown as another shot found its way into the back of the net.

Despite several chances, the Blackbird offense was unable to beat the Kalida goalie to cut into the Wildcat lead.
