Bellman Sentenced

Melissa Bellman, 31, Archbold, is required to spend five days at the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio after being sentenced Thursday, Sept. 3, on a drug-related charge.

Bellman was indicted on one count of possession of heroin by a Fulton County grand jury on June 15. Scott Haselman, Fulton County prosecuting attorney, said in a press release that on Aug. 5, 2014, she had heroin in her possession.

She had previously en- tered a guilty plea, and was sentenced to seven days at CCNO, with credit for two days served.

She was also placed on community control for two years; ordered to pay the cost of her prosecution and courtappointed attorney fees, complete outpatient drug treatment, seek and maintain employment, stay out of bars/taverns, and not to possess or consume alcohol or illegal substances.

Her driver license was suspended for six months, with privileges for work and treatment.

Failure to comply could result in Bellman spending 11 months in prison.
