Dean Beck, Fulton County Health Center administrator since 1975, will retire Sept. 1.
Beck joined FCHC, Sept. 1, 1968, as the hospital business manager, and worked his way up to the top job.
Beck said his reason for retirement is, “It’s been long enough. At my age, it’s time.”
He said he has not given a lot of thought to how he will occupy his time after retirement. He does anticipate spending more time watching his grandchildren play sports.
Beck’s replacement has been selected.
Patty Finn, who has served as FCHC associate administrator for 18 years, will take over. Finn has held various positions at FCHC, Beck said.
