If you are registered to vote, you should go to the polls Tuesday, March 15, for the primary election.
It’s you, the individual voter, going to the polls and casting a ballot that helps make the nation great.
It’s a presidential election year, and there are also contested races among members of the two major political parties in Fulton and Henry counties.
There are also some issues on the ballot. Everyone, including persons who don’t vote in Republican or Democratic primaries, votes on tax issues, and there are a few vital issues on the ballots.
Case in point: the Archbold Area School District is seeking a five-year renewal of its $1.1-million emergency property tax levy. Voters in the district are being asked to keep much-needed revenue coming in, so children in the district can continue to receive outstanding educations.
The more voters turn out and exercise their right to vote, the better the quality of the decision, one way or another.
So, remember to vote Tuesday!
