The home of Zachary Hahn, 37, 503 South Street, suffered $300 in damage after a picture window in his home was hit by a BB from a BB gun.
Hahn told police at about 6:30 pm, Saturday, April 20, he heard something hit the front window, and noticed a quarter-sized depression in the glass. He told officers three children across the street had been playing with BB guns.
One gun was taken from a youth.
An officer spoke to the children, advising them that homes in the village are too close together to safely shoot anything. The officer also spoke to one of the children’s parents.
The gun was returned. No charges were filed.
