Several crashes were recently reported to the Fulton County Sheriff Department:
•Friday, Jan. 29, 10:01 pm: A car, driven by Geraldine Floyd, 49, Toledo, with passenger Miles Duran Tripp, 25, Holland, was traveling north on St. Rt. 66, and failed to make the right-hand turn about three-tenths of a mile south of Co. Rd. L. The vehicle went off the road, striking two road signs. Floyd was cited for failure to control. No injuries.
•Saturday, Feb. 6, 5:50 am: A vehicle driven by an unknown person was traveling north on St. Rt. 66, and attempted to turn left, to go west on Co. Rd. F. The vehicle struck the stop sign at the southwest corner of the intersection.
•Wednesday, Feb. 10, 7:56 pm: A car, driven by Mary Jane Venegas, 36, Marrow, Ga., was traveling north on Co. Rd. 24 and swerved to miss a deer. She went off the right, or east, side and struck a telephone junction box about six tenths of a mile north of Co. Rd. B. There was snow on the road. Venegas was cited for failure to control. No injuries.
•Sunday, Feb. 14, 10:21 am: A car, driven by Dean A. Stuckey, 55, rural West Unity, with passenger Sheila M. Stuckey, same address, was backing from a parking lot at West Franklin Methodist Church into the intersection of Co. Rd. L and Co. Rd. 27- 1 and collided with a pickup driven by Cary A. Ohlinger, 56, Montpelier, which was traveling east on Co. Rd. L, and was attempting to turn left to go north on Co. Rd. 27-1. No injuries.
