Arrested On Warrants

Bobby Joe Williams, 43, rural Wauseon, was arrested on three warrants from Fulton County Eastern District Court and Western District Court after he was stopped for a traffic violation about 8:15 am, Wednesday, Jan. 16.

An Archbold police officer wrote in his report that he stopped Williams for driving through the Defiance Street Norfolk Southern railroad crossing while the gates were coming down.

Upon checking Williams’ identification with Fulton County sheriff dispatchers, the officer was advised of the warrant and was told Williams’ driver license was suspended.

In addition to being cited for the suspended license violation, he was arrested and taken to the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio on the warrants.

He has since been released.
