Archbold police recently arrested two men on warrants from Western District Court.
In the first report, officers noted that at about 1:45 pm, Sunday, Aug. 10, they received information stating that Rogelio Zamora, also known as Roger Zamora, 32, was staying at a residence in Colony Meadows.
The officer confirmed that there was a warrant for Zamora’s arrest for failure to appear in court for a hearing on a DUI charge.
The original DUI charge dates back to September 2005.
Officers went to the residence and made contact with Zamora.
He was placed under arrest and transported to the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio.
He was released on his own recognizance. An Oct. 7 hearing date was set.
An officer arrested Logan James Brooks, 19, Archbold, after the officer spotted Brooks entering an apartment at East Gardens about 9:05 pm, Tuesday, Aug. 12.
The officer stated in his report that while he was in the apartment complex parking lot, he saw Brooks.
Brooks was apprehended, and the warrant was verified. He was placed under arrest and taken to CCNO.
The warrant was issued because Brooks failed to appear for a hearing on an original charge of unauthorized use of property, which was filed in June 2013.
He was released on his own recognizance. A Dec. 9 hearing date was set.
