Arrest Nine After Drug Investigation

Archbold Man Among Those Indicted


Roy Miller, Fulton County sheriff, announced yesterday, Tuesday, that nine people have been arrested in connection with countywide drug investigations.

In a press release, Miller said the individuals were indicted by a recent Fulton County Grand Jury.

Among those arrested was Henry W. Marksch IV, 27, Archbold, who was indicted on two counts of possession of heroin.

Also charged is Gale Patrick Dickey, 41. He was charged with trafficking in drugs.

Dickey was one of 19 persons charged with drug-related crimes in August 2015 following an 18-month undercover drug investigation by the Multi-Area Narcotics Task Force, commonly known as the MAN Unit.

He is currently serving a 24-month prison sentence in the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections after pleading guilty to charges of trafficking in drugs and permitting drug abuse. He is presently at the ODRC Reception Center in Orient.

Prior to his conviction, Dickey had an Archbold address.

Others indicted and arrested, and the charges:

•Michael L. Dominque, 68, rural Fayette, illegal cultivation of marijuana.

•Ian Ruffer, 26, Wauseon, aggravated trafficking in drugs.

•Ada Shaver, 43, Delta, possession of heroin.

•Sadie J. Shaver, 21, same address as Ada Shaver, possession of heroin.

•Dayvon W. Boston, 21, Toledo, trafficking in heroin.

•Shawn D. O’Leary, 29, Lyons, possession of heroin.

•Thomas H. Green, 20, rural

Delta, trafficking in marijuana.

•Jacob E. Olson, 24, Ohio Department of Corrections (formerly of Wauseon) trafficking in heroin.

Miller said members of the MAN Unit “assisted the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office and the Archbold Police Department in executing arrest warrants.”

Also assisting were the Wauseon, Delta, Swanton, and Fayette police departments, Fulton County Dog Warden, Fulton County Department of Job & Family Services Child Protection Unit, Black Swamp Electronic Crimes Task Force, Ohio Attorney General Office Bureau of Criminal Investigation, and the Defiance County Sheriff Department.

The cases were submitted to the grand jury by Scott Haselman, Fulton County prosecuting attorney.
