Area Students Complete Study Service Terms

Brodie Nofziger, AHS ‘14, son of Phil and Melissa, a sophomore history major, and Carley Wyse, AHS ‘12, daughter of Mike and Julia, a senior communications major, completed the Goshen (Ind.) College international study program, Study-Service Term in Cambodia during the spring semester.

Clara Beck, PHS ‘14, daughter of Duane and Deana, a sophomore music major, is participating in the SST in Peru this summer.

Caleb Liechty, PHS ‘13, son of Chris and Holly, a sophomore molecular biology/ biochemistry major, is participating in the SST in Senegal.

The SST program is divided into two distinct parts. During the first half, students study local culture and language, usually in the country’s capital city.

For the second part, students begin work on a volunteer service project, often in a more remote part of the country.
