Area Autos Vandalized




Two cars were recently vandalized when paint was scratched, the Archbold Police Department reports.

Keith A. Pedigo, rural Archbold, told officers sometime between 4:10 pm, Thursday, Sept. 27, and 6 pm, Saturday, Sept. 29, someone scratched an obscenity into the paint. He reported the incident Saturday.

Officers met with Pedigo in the Archbold Villas. Estimated damage was listed as $1,000.

Teri Yedica, 100 West Barre Road, reported the left door and rear quarter panel of her car was damaged by someone scratching it with a sharp object.

The damage is believed done sometime between 11 pm and 11:30 pm, Saturday, Sept. 22. Officers estimated damage at $750.

A suspect was seen running from the area.

Martin Schmidt, Archbold Police chief, said the incidents are believed not to be connected. They are under investigation.
