Area 4-H Members Attend Rabbit Breeders Convention

Peggy Kruse and Mindy Borer, members of the Pettisville Ever-Ready 4-H club, and Jackie Ballmer and Amy Miller, Countryside Clovers club, attended the American Rabbit Breeders Association convention in Grand Rapids, Mich., in early October.

The 4-H members competed in the Ohio State Fair and the ARBA convention events on a 4-H team. At the latter, the Fulton County girls were on an intermediate breeds identification team that placed second overall against teams from around the United States.

They were part of a 4-H team put together by Lisa Hoffman, Delta, to increase knowledge of rabbits. The girls were among the 17-member Hoffman team.
