Three Archbold High School students received Superior “I” ratings in vocal music competition, Saturday, Jan. 26.
Erin Reichert and Kate Nofziger received a Superior for their soprano solos, and Jeremiah Hartman received a Superior for his bass solo.
At the adjudicated event, students compete in Classes A, B, and C. Class A is the most challenging.
Students receive ratings of I, or Superior; II, Excellent; or III, Good.
The Company, the AHS show choir, earned an Excellent.
Other Excellent ratings in Class A went to Hannah Reamsnyder, soprano solo; Austin Penrod, bass solo; Kelly Bilen, alto solo; and Riah Short, soprano solo.
In Class B, Maggie Henry received a Superior for her soprano solo.
Excellent went to Lucia Rodriguez, alto solo; Ivan Cobb, bass solo; and William Nofziger, tenor solo.
The tenor bass ensemble of Hartman, Chris Foor, Denilson Gaona, and Cobb received a Good rating in Class B.
Isabella Francis earned a Superior for her alto solo in Class C. Natelie Gentle received an Excellent for her alto solo in Class C.
