Archbold Police Receive Three Reports Of Theft

A bicycle, wallet containing $70 in cash, and fuel were among the reported items stolen last week to the Archbold Police Department.

Brad Bame, Archbold, told police on Monday, Sept. 22 that between 1 pm and 4:30 pm the previous day, items were stolen from his car while it was parked at the Archbold Evangelical Church.

The doors were locked, but windows were partially down.

Taken was a digital music player, valued at $150, and a black wallet with cash. Total loss: $230.

A representative of Frozen Specialties reported on Thursday, Sept. 25 that someone siphoned fuel out of a semi trailer refrigeration unit while the trailer was parked on the lot, sometime between noon and 10:59 pm, Friday, Sept. 12.

Kim Sauder, Archbold, told officers on Saturday, Sept. 27, someone stole a bicycle owned by her son, Chase Smith, 12, same address.

The bicycle was parked at the Archbold Middle School. It was taken between 5 pm and 8 pm that day. Value: $130.
