April 19

11:57 am: Loud music, advised to turn it down.

April 20

9:45 pm: A car, owned by David Deskins, Archbold, was parked in a service alley at the rear of the Archbold High School. A second car, driven by Catherine A. Short, 48, Wauseon, was backing in the service alley. The vehicles collided.

April 21

2:43 pm: A utility line service truck owned by Toledo Edison and driven by Mark G. Zipfel, 50, Defiance, was traveling east on Nolan Parkway and stopped at the S. Defiance St. intersection. Zipfel began to turn left on N. Defiance St., and drove into the path of a southbound car driven by Judith M. Estel, 51, Wauseon. Estel swerved to the right, drove off the road and over the curb. The vehicles did not make contact; Zipfel was cited for failure to yield.

April 22

9:38 am: Missing person.

2:30 pm: Loose dog, 200 block W. Williams St.

6:38 pm: Citation to Rita M. Schortgen, 43, Defiance, speeding, 700 block E. Lutz Rd.

8:15 pm: Truck-bollard incident, N. Defiance St. at Stryker St., citation issued.

8:32 pm: Dog loose, no tags, 400 block High St., advised dog warden.

April 23

8:29 am: Truck-bollard incident, N. Defiance St. at Stryker St., citation issued.

10:22 am: Report of a subject arguing with Census taker, 400 block W. Lutz Rd., spoke to subject.

11:17 am: Non-injury traffic crash, 1100 block S. Defiance St., no report wanted.

3:11 pm: Dog loose, 1100 E. Lutz Rd., turned over to Fulton County Sheriff Department and dog warden.

4:30 pm: Raccoon captured, N. Defiance St. at Charles St., taken to Goll Woods.

6:10 pm: A car owned by Michelle Graber, Archbold, was parked in the Archbold Super- Valu parking lot. A second car driven by Emily Urbina, 17, Archbold, with passengers Elias Urbina, 15, same address, and Manessa J. Gamble, 17, Montpelier, attempted to park in a space next to the Graber auto. They collided.

9:45 pm: Dogs running loose, 300 block N. Clyde’s Way, unable to catch, advised dog warden.

April 24

11 am: Theft, Liechty Farm Equipment.

9:21 pm: Verbal warning for riding all-terrain vehicle on roadway, 700 block E. Lutz Rd.

April 25

8:18 am: Two loose dogs, 200 block E. Mechanic St., returned to owner.

4:04 pm: Citation to Myrah J. Fether, 42, Stryker, for passing a stopped school bus with lights flashing, 300 block W. Holland St.

5:45 pm: Dog found, 3000 block Co. Rd. 24, placed in kennel, left message for dog warden.

5:45 pm: Loud music, 600 block Park St., advised to turn it down.

Note: During the preceding week, Archbold police officers issued verbal warnings for improper lane use, driving without lights, cutting through a private parking area to avoid a traffic signal, disobeying a traffi c signal, no turn signals, disobeyed a stop sign.
