Jan. 12

12:53 pm: A parked United Parcel Service delivery truck was parked in the alley on the east side of the 200 block of N. Defiance St., about 30 feet south of E. Holland St. An unknown vehicle struck the parked delivery truck, then left the scene.

Jan. 13

9:28 am: Vandalism report, Archbold Parks & Recreation, 200 block W. Williams St.

4:29 pm: A pickup truck, driven by Dustin M. Blevins, 29, rural Stryker, had entered the Archbold Main Stop parking lot and was making a largeradius turn toward the gasoline pumps. A second pickup, driven by Richard Lee Rozevink, 28, rural Wauseon, was backing out of a parking space. The vehicles collided.

7:08 pm: A pickup truck, driven by Paul E. Lovejoy, 67, with passenger Joan M. Lovejoy, 64, was stopped in traffic in the southbound lane of the 200 block of N. Defiance Street, waiting for the Stryker St. traffic signal. Stopped behind the pickup was a car, driven by Nancy E. Bowers, 40, with passenger Elycia D. Bowers, 12, Edgerton. When the light turned green, the Bowers vehicle moved forward and collided with the Lovejoy auto. Bowers was cited for failure to maintain an assured clear distance ahead. The impact occurred 98 feet north of Stryker St.

Jan 14

9:30 am: A car, driven by David M. Huber, 84, Archbold, was traveling east on E. Lutz Rd., when the vehicle he was driving went off the right side of the roadway, through a snow bank, and struck a tree. The car drove across Farber Drive. Huber continued east on the sidewalk to the East Garden Apartments. Huber was cited for failure to maintain reasonable control of a motor vehicle.

7:52 pm: 911 hang-up call, Fairlawn Apartments, subject misdialed phone, all okay.

Jan. 15

2 pm: Complaint of dog running at large, 1800 block South Defiance St., spoke with owner.

6:52 pm: Disabled vehicle, S. Defiance St. at W. Barre Rd., moved vehicle off roadway.

8:15 pm: A semi-tractor trailer rig, owned by Knight Transportation, Phoenix, Ariz., was parked in a Sauder Woodworking parking lot at 801 West Barre Rd. A second semi, driven by Ray L. Knapp, 36, Wauseon, owned by Sauder Woodworking, was positioning a trailer to back into a loading bay. The two vehicles collided.

Jan. 16

2:12 am: Truck stopped in roadway, 1400 block S. Defi- ance St., driver lost, escorted to Sauder Woodworking.

7:22 am: Disabled vehicle, outside of village, in the 22000 block of St. Rt. 2; no one around vehicle; turned over to Fulton County Sheriff Department.

9:42 am: Disabled semi, trailer came loose from truck, 900 block Stryker Street, contracted wrecker service, directed traffic.

Note: During the preceding week, Archbold police officers gave verbal warnings for blocking traffic, disobeying a traffic signal, driving without taillights, and driving with an obstructed view.
