7:45 am: Sport-utility vehicle driven by George Stotzer, 58, Archbold, was traveling east on Stryker St. When he applied the brakes, the vehicle slid on the icy pavement and struck the bell bollard on the southwest corner of the intersection.

7:12 pm: Theft from vehicle, 615 N. Defiance St.

Nov. 26

11:28 am: A representative of the Archbold Main Stop reported a white male driving a red, full-size, older pickup truck with no front license plate, pumped $59 worth of gasoline and drove off without paying for the fuel. Vehicle last seen traveling north on Co. Rd. 24.

2:40 pm: Minivan, owned by Sarah Short, 406 Vine St., was parked on the west side of the road near her residence. A van driven by Ronald W. Lawrence, owned by RTEC Communications, rural Ridgeville Corners, was backing out of a driveway at 405 Vine St., and struck the parked auto. Lawrence was cited for improperly starting and backing vehicles.

10:26 pm: Loud noise, 200 block Douglas Dr., advised subject to keep it down.

11:32 pm: Parking in wrong direction, 100 block Ditto St.

4:43 pm: Subject blowing leaves onto roadway, advised subject against practice.

1:30 pm: Citation for parking across lines, 100 block N. Defi- ance St.

7:46 pm: A car owned by Tamara A. Johnston, rural Defi- ance, was parked across from the Archbold fire station, along the Norfolk Southern railroad tracks, in a no-parking zone. A pickup truck driven by Linda S. Chapa, Archbold, backed out of the Archbold fire department and struck the parked auto. Chapa cited for improperly starting and backing vehicles.

11:46 pm: Theft from vehicle, 304 Murbach St.

12:48 am: Theft from vehicle, 103 E. Beech St.

Nov. 30

10:12 pm: A car owned by James F. Kissel, Defiance, parked at the gas pumps at the Circle K. A second car, driven by Sonya R. Griffin, 23, Edgerton, with passenger Desirae S. Clauson, 21, Bryan, backed away from a parking space and struck the parked auto.

(Note: During the previous week, Archbold police officers issued verbal warnings for headlights, stop bar, traffic signal, failure to yield, speeding, no through trucks, no flag on load, stop sign.)
