Aug. 18

5:08 pm: Traffic stop, verbal warning for stop sign, advised motorist to be respectful to bicyclist.

10:15 pm: 911 hang-up call, 100 block Charles St., all okay.

Aug. 19

5 am: Juveniles placed barricades in roadway, S. Defiance St. at Union St.

Aug. 20

8:44 am: 911 hang-up call, 500 block Quail Run, no one home.

3:42 pm: Citation issued to Brian L. Couch, 31, McComb, for driving while license suspended, 2000 block S. Defiance St.

10:24 pm: Domestic trouble, 200 block Stryker St.

Aug. 21

9:15 am: Identity fraud, 100 block Short-Buehrer Rd.

5:43 pm: Suspicious vehicle with possible stolen trailer, 1300 block S. Defiance St., unfounded.

5:48 pm: Verbal warning for loud music, 300 block N. Defi- ance St.

Aug. 22

3:50 pm: Representatives of Circle K said a subject in a black vehicle pumped $15 worth of gasoline in the vehicle; the subject then sent children in to buy groceries and gasoline, but the children only paid for the groceries. Contacted and spoke with subject.

6:15 pm: A mini pickup truck, driven by Casie J. Nofziger, 29, rural Archbold, was backing out of a parking space at the Sauder Manufacturing plant, and collided with a parked auto owned by Roberta K. Mueller, Archbold.

Aug. 23

1:20 am: Report of theft from auto, 410 Vine St.

1:24 pm: Barking dog complaint, 200 E. Holland St., dog had no water; advised owner of the complaint, owner took dog inside.

3:09 pm: Report of dog at large, 1900 block S. Defiance St., dog gone when officer arrived.

Note: During the preceding week, Archbold police officers gave verbal warnings for driving left of center, speeding, disobeying a stop sign and stop bar, and disobeying a traffic control device. There were also 10 warnings to bicyclists for riding their bikes on downtown sidewalks.
