July 13

7:10 am: Mailbox vandalism, Rosewood Ct.

12:56 pm: Theft, 208 West St.

July 14

4:07 pm: Drive off without paying, S&S Express, returned and paid.

4:21 pm: Semi driven by Michael A. Gloor, 48, Napoleon, backing at Frozen Specialties parking lot, trailer struck a utility pole owned by Toledo Edison. The pole pulled down another utility pole owned by Frozen Specialties, struck a parked car owned by Valerie B. Ridenour, Bryan, and a wire struck a parked pickup truck, owned by Robin Thiel, Paulding.

July 15

3:24 pm: A car, driven by Helen M. Leininger, 88, rural Archbold, traveling west in the Archbold SuperValu parking lot. She moved to avoid a vehicle backing out of a parking space on her left and collided with a parked sport utility vehicle owned by DDD&DFD, Inc., Archbold.

11:34 pm: Verbal warning for failure to stop for railroad gates, Defiance St. at Norfolk Southern crossing.

July 16

6:55 am: Citation to Jason A. Baun, 33, Archbold, speeding, 400 block E. Lutz Rd.

2:45 pm: Bicycle found, 300 block Stryker St., placed in vehicle storage.

3:27 pm: Traffic stop, loud music, told to turn it down.

July 17

8:43 am: Breaking and entering, Memorial Park concession stand.

2:56 pm: Tony A. Couts, 33, Ney, was traveling south in the parking lot at ConAgra Foods. Benjamin C. Romero, rural Archbold, was walking south towards ConAgra front doors. SUV turned right and collided with Romero. Romero taken to Archbold Hospital, treated and released.

4:23 pm: Telephone harassment, East Gardens.

8:50 pm: Drive off without paying, Friendship Food Mart.

July 18

10:15 am: Possible scam, East Gardens.

3:14 pm: Citation to Velma M. Roth, 86, Archbold, speeding, 700 block E. Lutz Rd.

5:32 pm: Drive off without paying, Archbold Main Stop.

8:02 pm: Summons in lieu of arrest issued to Isaac C. Weber, 19, rural Stryker, for attempting to purchase alcoholic beverages while under the legal age limit, Friendship Food Mart.

July 19

5:57 pm: Burglary, 806 West St.

8:15 am: Assault, Nu-Arch Lanes.

9:28 am: Found scooter, Archbold FISH Food Pantry, placed in vehicle storage building.

Note: During the preceding week, Archbold Police offi cers gave verbal warnings for marked lanes, no trucks, headlights, speeding.
