10 am: Report of bad checks, Archbold SuperValu; summons to appear issued to Lindsay Rae Ledford, 29, Millbury.

2:45 pm: Suspicious person, 2000 block S. Defiance St.

5:39 pm: Assist fire-rescue, 500 block Schrock Dr.

6:52 pm: Issued bicycle safety award, 300 block West St.

8:37 pm: Traffic/parking violations, Archbold High School, 12 warnings issued.

8:39 pm: Citation to William Barnett, 56, Archbold, disobeying traffic signal, DUI, S. Defiance St. at West Barre Rd.

11:53 pm: Report of threats and-or harassment.

Aug. 30

4:04 am: Suspicious person, 1100 block S. Defiance St.

11:53 am: Assist fire-rescue, 500 block Haven Dr.

3:05 pm: Citation to Brock Thompson, 37, Defiance, driving while license suspended, Colony Meadows.

4:07 pm: Issued bicycle safety award, 300 block Park St.

5:44 pm: Manhole left uncovered, 200 block Stryker St., put manhole cover back in place.

6:23 pm: Loud noise from Ruihley Park, was soccer game at Spengler Field.

Aug. 31

12:11 am: Drunk subject complaining cat is meowing, 100 block Garden Dr., unable to locate.

3:17 pm: Unruly juvenile, 400 block Park St., spoke with juvenile, who advised attitude will change.

4:17 pm: 911 hang-up, 100 block Garden Dr.; unwanted subject, advised to stay away from victim or would be charged.

Sept. 1

10:21 am: Fire creating foul odor, 300 block Stryker St., subject only burning wood.

5:25 pm: Loose dog, 400 block Stryker St., unable to locate.

Sept. 2

12:15 pm: Missing juvenile, 200 block Park St., juvenile went to friend’s house, no one would answer the door. Located juvenile at residence, turned over to mother, spoke with other juvenile’s parents.

1:29 pm: Assist fire rescue, Bil-Jax.

5:30 pm: Civil problem, East Gardens, boyfriend changed locks on apartment, complainant’s name on lease; advised complainant to contact complex managers.

6:30 pm: Peace keep, East Gardens.

8:38 pm: Assist fire-rescue, Fox Chase, full arrest.

12:43 am: Suspicious vehicles, Ruihley Park, issued verbal warnings for being in park after hours.

Sept. 3

3:23 pm: Theft, Circle K.

6:02 pm: Verbal warning, unrestrained child in golf cart.

3:56 pm: Assist fire-rescue, Sauder Woodworking, West Barre Rd.

7:05 pm: Civil problem, child custody, Fox Chase, advised subject to contact attorney.

7:26 pm: Issued four bicycle safety awards, 400 block Ditto St.

10:05 pm: A car, driven by Paige Emily Martin, 21, Archbold, was traveling north on S. Defiance St., and was stopped in traffic about 36 feet south of E. Mechanic St. A second car, driven by Stuart Michael Yoder, 16, rural Archbold, was traveling north, behind the Martin auto. They collided. Yoder cited for failure to maintain an assured clear distance ahead. No injury.

10:53 pm: Domestic violence, 235 Westfield Dr.

Sept. 4

11:15 am: Citation to Skyler Nofziger, 23, Archbold, allowing dog to defecate on public sidewalk and not removing it, 100 block Vine St.

1:46 pm: Drive-off, Circle K.

2:30 pm: Unwanted subject, Fairlawn Apartments, advised subject if they return, they will be arrested.

7:40 pm: A minivan, driven by Gudberto Mendoza, 59, Archbold, was backing in the Colony Meadows trailer court and collided with a parked car owned by Sabrina May Ashbaugh, Evansport. No injury.

11:10 pm: Suspicious vehicle, Sanoh America, warned subject against trespassing.

11:30 pm: Property damage crash, Sauder Woodworking, West Barre Rd., no report wanted.

Note: During the preceding week, Archbold police gave verbal warnings for disobeying a stop sign, stopping beyond a stop bar, speeding, failure to drive in marked lanes, driving with a broken taillight, illegally dark window tinting, reckless operation, and failure to dim headlights.
