July 3

8:53 am: Juvenile girl, appeared to need assistance, flagging for help, unable to locate.

9:22 am: Vehicles parked in private lot, 100 block Depot St., advised subjects.

9:39 am: Semi parked on road, 100 block E. Mechanic St., possibly lost, gone when officer arrived.

1:28 pm: Vehicle damaged at Archbold Wash ‘N Fill; civil matter.

5:15 pm: Unwanted person, 100 block Haven Dr., advised subject.

8:29 pm: Parking citation, parking in a handicapped unloading zone, 200 block Lafayette St.

July 4

9:50 am: 911 hang-up, mobile phone, 100 block La- Choy Dr., unfounded.

10:33 am: Checked on solicitor, 100 block LaChoy Dr., all okay.

3:22 pm: Unruly juvenile, 400 block Park St., conferred with juvenile probation, advised youth to obey terms of probation.

11:38 pm: Citation to Travis Walter, 29, Delta, DUI, 800 block W. Barre Rd.

July 5

4:11 am: Arrested Jon Ordway, 32, Archbold, on misdemeanor warrant, 100 block Franklin St.

11:50 am: Reckless operation, 100 block Woodland Dr., gone when officer arrived.

12:02 pm: Vandalism to motor home.

1:56 pm: A car, driven by Sidney Evan Ramirez, 16, Archbold, was driving in a parking lot at Woodland Park, and was making a wide, sweeping turn at a high rate of speed when the vehicle’s front fender and wheel struck a curb. Passengers were Drew Robert Coffey, 18, Archbold, and Justin Coffey, 16, Archbold. Ramirez was cited for reckless operation. No injuries.

2:34 pm: Subject locked out of apartment, East Gardens, assisted to gain entrance.

6:56 pm: Civil problem, peace keep, 700 block E. Lutz Rd.

7:44 pm: Issued two bicycle safety awards, 100 block Woodland Dr.

10:01 pm: Fireworks, Fox Chase, advised subjects against practice.

July 6

2:24 am: Citation to Charles Freeman, 51, Archbold, driving while license suspended, 400 block E. Lutz Rd.; citation to Margaret Hughes, 63, Archbold, wrongful entrustment of motor vehicle.

8:29 pm: Issued bicycle safety award, 1400 block S. Defiance St.

8:32 pm: Issued bicycle safety award, 500 block Ditto St.

July 7

1:11 am: 911 hang-up, phone trouble, all okay.

8:11 am: Found chainsaw, 111 Depot St.

10:04 am: A car, driven by Susan M. Centers, 67, Archbold, was parking in a lot at Memorial Park when it accelerated rapidly, drove over the curb and struck a fence. No injury.

12:09 pm: 911 hang-up, Bil-Jax, unfounded.

2:03 pm: Telephone harassment, Fox Chase.

8:32 pm: Issued two bicycle safety awards, 300 block Buckeye St.

8:40 pm: Issued bicycle safety award, 100 block E. Mechanic St.

9:17 pm: Issued bicycle safety award, 1100 block N. Buehrer St.

July 8

1:58 pm: Suspicious vehicle, 200 block W. Williams St., unable to locate.

4:41 pm: 911 hang-up, 900 block W. Holland St.

4:46 pm: Civil problem, 200 block Westfield Dr.

6 pm: Telephone complaint, Garden Dr.

6:27 pm: Violation of protection order, Archbold One Stop.

7:57 pm: Issued two bicycle safety awards, 200 block Walnut St.

July 9

11:01 am: Issued two bicycle safety awards, 100 block S. Defiance St.

2:30 pm: Larceny, happened in county, turned over to Fulton County Sheriff Department.

2 pm: Served search warrant, 500 block S. Defiance St.

July 10

8:39 am: Runaway juvenile, 400 block Park St., child returned home.

10:08 am: Put up no-parking signs for farmer’s market.

10:12 am: Follow-up on missing juvenile report, 1200 block Stryker St.

12:45 pm: Transient, 200 block Stryker St., transported to Fulton County Sheriff Department.

5:35 pm: Arrested Antonio Gonzales, 51, Archbold on charge of domestic violence, Colony Meadows.

7:27 pm: Possible stolen mail reported at police station.

Note: During the preceding week, Archbold police issued verbal warnings for speeding, no taillights, no headlights, failure to yield, failure to use turn signals, and equipment violations.
