May 17

11:40 am: Vandalism, 500 South St.

12:18 pm: Missing fouryear old juvenile, returned before officers arrived.

12:28 pm: Theft, Fox Chase.

8:15 pm: Unlatched hood on vehicle, 900 block Stryker St., all okay.

9:08 pm: Narcotics, 500 block S. Defiance St.

10:18 pm: Found bicycle, 200 block Depot St., matches description of stolen bicycle, taken to police station.

10:32 pm: Suspicious vehicle, 200 block Depot St.

May 18

12:20 am: Arrested Justin Richard Gillingham, Bryan, on felony warrant; placed under arrest at Archbold police station.

4:18 pm: Child custody issue, 300 block Ditto St.

4:51 pm: Citation to Robert Garcia, 50, Toledo, disobeying stop sign, 400 block Ditto St.

May 19

9:18 am: A car, driven by Peter H. Kiesow, 82, rural Wauseon with passenger Amy K. Austin, 50, and Annrose Kiesow, 85, same address, was traveling west on West Barre Rd. An SUV driven by Keith T. Kern, 37, Archbold, was entering West Barre Rd. from the south side of the intersection at Brussel St., and turned to go west on West Barre Rd. They collided. No injuries. Kern cited for failure to yield the right-of-way. No injuries.

May 20

8:35 am: Drive-off, Circle K.

11:09 am: Suspicious vehicle, 300 block Stamm St., gone when officers arrived.

11:47 am: A semi, driven by Velimir Pejic, 50, Austin, Minn., was driving east on Stryker St., and was stopped in the left-turn-only lane at the N. Defiance St. intersection, waiting to turn right. A car, driven by Miranda K. Skiver, 20, rural Archbold, drove into the right-turn only lane, to make a right turn. As the semi began to negotiate the turn, the trailer struck the Skiver auto. Pejic was cited for violating rules for driving in marked lanes. No injuries.

5:08 pm: Civil problem, peace keep, Holland Ct. Apartments.

May 21

12:01 am: Loud noise, East Gardens, advised person.

4:11 am: Suspicious person, 500 block Sauder St., waiting for mother, all okay.

6:54 am: Traffic stop, 200 block N. Defiance St., no front plate, citation to Dexter Rupp, 49, Archbold, seat belt.

2:49 pm: A pickup driven by Adam M. Stickley, 28, rural Delta, was traveling north on S. Defiance St., and was stopped in traffic at the West Barre Rd.-Lafayette St. intersection. A car, driven by Jose Montalvo Ramirez, was traveling north behind the pickup. They collided. Ramirez cited for failure to maintain an assured clear distance ahead. No injuries.

3 pm: Kelsey Weirauch, 18, rural Wauseon, an employee of The Pop Shop, complained that a person was bothering her; person went to Archbold Library. Spoke to person, advised no longer welcome at The Pop Shop.

8:44 pm: Arrested Kelli Tuckerman, on warrant from Bernalillo County, N.M., for failure to appear; transported to the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio.

8:35 pm: Disabled vehicle, 1300 block S. Defiance St.

May 22

12:27 am: Suspicious activities, 100 block Garden Dr., person found penny on door knob.

10:49 am: Crash, 300 block N. Defiance St.

12:54 pm: Prisoner transport.

3:25 pm: Citation to Dennis Damman, 58, Napoleon, speeding, 300 block Miller Ave.

3:42 pm: Serve civil papers, 800 block West St.

5:28 pm: Loose dogs, Douglas Dr. at Walnut St., gone when officer arrived.

6:40 pm: Loose dogs, Miller Ave., gone when officer arrived.

May 23

12:17 am: Welfare check, 100 block Garden Dr., all okay.

12:25 pm: 911 hang-up, Sauder Village, phone issues.

7:46 pm: Drive-off, Archbold Main Stop, person returned and paid.

8:07 pm: Suspicious person, 100 block Grassy Ln.

8:30 pm: Assisted resident with flat tire, 100 block High St.

Note: During the preceding week, Archbold police gave verbal warnings for driving with one headlight out, driving with no headlights, driving with no taillights, failure to use turn signals, speeding, disobeying a stop sign, disobeying a traffic signal, driving across private property to avoid traffic, parking in a prohibited area.
