Oct. 26

10:43 am: A sport-utility vehicle, driven by Vickie S. Dopp, 68, Archbold, was traveling south on S. Defi- ance St., and was stopped in traffic about 114 feet north of W. Lugbill Rd. A second sport-utility vehicle, driven by Quentin Vernatter, Jr., 55, Oregon, was traveling south behind the Dopp vehicle. They collided. Vernatter was cited for failure to maintain an assured clear distance ahead.

1:03 pm: 911 hang-up, 100 block S. Lincoln St., all okay.

2:54 pm: Trash placed out more than 36 hours before pickup, Willow Way, spoke to person.

3:06 pm: Citation to Harry Butler, 80, Wauseon, speeding, 300 block Miller Ave.

1:03 pm: Theft, 102 La Choy Dr.

9 pm: Civil matter, Holland Court Apartments, peace keep.

9:31 pm: Missing child, 100 block E. Beech St., child found by mother.

11:27 pm: Suspicious vehicle, 200 block S. Defiance St., persons talking, all okay.

12:18 pm: Archbold Sunoco reported a person in a maroon sport-utility pumped $12.04 worth of gas and drove off without paying.

5:29 pm: Trash out more than 36 hours before pickup, 400 block West St.

6:35 pm: Domestic trouble, 300 block DeGroff Ave.

Oct. 28

1:53 am: Dog running loose, owner warned.

5:31 pm: Arrested Ashleigh Villalovos at 217 Douglas Dr. on traffic warrant from Wood County.

Oct. 29

3:39 pm: Disabled semi, 300 block S. Defiance St.

5:30 pm: Arrested Christy Hoyt, 35, at East Gardens, on warrant.

6:49 pm: Assisted fire or rescue squad, Holland Court apartments.

7:45 pm: Attempted to serve misdemeanor warrant, East Gardens, unable to locate person.

8:50 pm: Attempted to serve misdemeanor warrant, 300 block Ditto St., una ble to locate.

12:57 pm: Civil problem, 100 block Blue Streak Dr., peace keep.

3 pm: Low telephone wire, 900 block Stryker St., reported to telephone company.

6:48 pm: Drive off, Archbold Main Stop, person returned and paid.

4:14 pm: Lost wallet, Shopko.

4:17 pm: Crash report, 900 block Stryker St.

Note: During the preceding week, Archbold police gave verbal warnings for speeding, failure to use turn signals, no trailer lights, no taillights, a white light showing from the rear of a vehicle, having an open container of alcohol in a vehicle, passing in hazard zone, and driving with one headlight.
