Sept. 21

11:09 am: A car, driven by Rita R. Bodenbender, 55, Cecil, was stopped in the parking lot of Marco’s Pizza. A car, driven by John Wright, 40, Wauseon, was backing and struck the Bodenbender auto.

1:59 pm: Report of juvenile locking self in bathroom stall, Archbold Elementary School. Stall unlocked, juvenile escorted out; youth refused to walk to elementary school office; assisted youth to office; officers stood by until mother arrived and took custody.

2:09 pm: Found motorcycle, 300 block North St.

4:09 pm: Burglary, 502 S. Defiance St.

Sept. 22

2:10 am: Persons arguing, 100 block W. Holland St., sent on their way.

7:50 pm: Three juveniles walking on railroad tracks, 100 block W. Mechanic Street, advised youth to cross tracks at crossings and to use roads and sidewalks.

Sept. 23

2:24 am: Report of prowlers, 1900 block S. Defiance St., unfounded.

8:44 am: Domestic trouble, 402 S. Defiance St., one arrested.

4:20 pm: Civil problem, 500 block West St., assisted persons.

6:03 pm: 911 hang-up, 400 block E. Lutz Rd., okay.

11:12 pm: Loud noise, 500 block Murbach St., gone when officers arrived.

Sept. 24

1:42 am: Report of prowlers, 200 block S. Defiance St., gone when officers arrived.

3:27 am: Told truck driver to move vehicle, 900 block Stryker St.

3:20 pm: Theft, Archbold Middle School.

Sept. 25

8:30 am: School bus violation, 1900 block S. Defiance St., unable to locate vehicle.

11:33 am: A van, owned by Neil H. Rupp, rural Bryan, was parked at the gas pumps at Circle K. A car, driven by Donabell J. Nofziger, 84, Archbold, was driving near the gas pumps and collided with the Rupp vehicle.

1:50 pm: 911 hang-up, 200 block Lincoln St., subject programming cell phone.

4:28 pm: Larceny, East Gardens, arrest made.

6:42 pm: Assisted Fulton County Sheriff Deputy with subject at residence, 4000 block Co. Rd. 19; transported person to another residence, left in care of family.

8:45 pm: Theft, Archbold Middle School.

9:47 pm: Domestic problem, East Gardens, spoke to persons and got conflicting statements; no arrests; recovered drug paraphernalia in plain sight.

Sept. 26

5:20 am: Disabled vehicle, 100 block Park St., pushed into St. Martin’s church parking lot.

6:45 am: Person advised they observed a semi back onto Siegal Dr., and in doing so, struck a sign owned by Fairlawn Haven at about 5:45 am. Unable to locate truck.

7:04 am: Found driver license, Archbold SuperValu.

9:30 am: 911 hang-up, all okay, call accidental.

10:01 am: Peace keep, 400 block S. Defiance St.

5:37 am: Person reported Obama campaign sign was replaced with Romney sign by person driving a white van.

9:21 am: Possible scam, 1200 block Stryker St., no money lost.

Sept. 27

2:13 pm: Found bicycle behind Rupp Furniture building, 105 N. Defiance St.

7:47 pm: 911 call, open line, 300 block Buckeye St., okay, accidentally dialed phone.

Sept. 28

1:04 am: Found wallet, McDonald’s, owner notified.

Note: During the preceding week, Archbold police gave verbal warning for driving with a headlight out.
